Timeline

Command Companies is a family-owned company, taking its commitments to clients, employees, suppliers, communities, and the environment very seriously.  Our tradition in print has entered its third generation and we are soon going to celebrate our 50th year in business.

1990's
2000's

Command Companies is formed

1990

  • Command launches Command Financial.

1991

  • Command launches Robbinsville, a state-of-the-art book manufacturing facility.

1994

  • Command opens its Missouri facility, which prints soft-cover juvenile books.

2002 

  • Command enters the digital printing market with Strategic Content Imaging.

2006 

  • Command acquires RS Rosenbaum, a New York based financial printer with more than 25 years of experience.

2007 

  • Command launches ISO initiative that leads to certifications across the businesses.

2008

  • Command launches environmental initiatives throughout Command Companies.

2011

  • Command receives ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality management.
  • Command becomes a PANTONE® Certified Printer™

2012

  • Command Financial receives ISO 27001 certification for Information Security Management System for CAPS (Command Automated Publishing System).
  • UNIMAC installs roof-mounted solar panels.
  • Command Robbinsville installs roof-mounted solar panels

2013 

  • UNIMAC is awarded the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Management System Certification for Information Technology.
  • Command Digital installs roof-mounted solar panels

2017
